Live Writing…

Live Blog Year 4

Here is a video from our wonderful gift service this morning, with the salvation army. The band played some of our favourite Christmas songs, and we all had a good old sing song. We even were treated to our very own Miss Fraser and Mrs Gorse joining in with a tambourine dance. It really got us in the Christmas spirit. 🙂

The Firework Maker’s Daughter

This week we have started our brand new novel, ‘The Firework Maker’s Daughter.’ We have been thinking about how the main character Lila might have felt, when her father, a firework maker, betrayed her, by not telling her the secret of how to become a firework maker. Here is a fabulous little actor in Y4P, who is taking on the role of Lila, and leaving her dad ‘a last recording.’ We really tried to think about how we could show the different emotions Lila was feeling. What do you think of his acting skills? We are very impressed!
